Our Tanzania all-inclusive, custom itinerary safari has it all - the best at your own pace.
Ultimate All-Inclusive Luxury Trip
Generally speaking there are two types of safaris - group safaris (typically 6-7 people - 6 in back and 1 in front, plus driver) with set departure dates and rigid schedules, and tailor-made or customized safaris that depart upon request and travel at the pace desired by one or more people. Our All-Inclusive Luxury Safari is of the second type - comfort, security, finest accommodations, top guides and visits to the best wildlife and wilderness areas, happening at your pace. This is Tanzania in style with a private, knowledgeable guide. Special purpose trips can be accommodated. Private activities and your own pilot / aircraft can be arranged. Imagine a balloon ride over the Serengeti in the early morning.
With the help of our travel consultants, you can determine your own departure date, trip length, areas to visit, types of accommodations and activities. Accommodations vary from comfortable camping to exclusive permanent lodge and tented camp accommodations that would impress the most discerning world traveler. Since you are not part of a group, you can choose your own activities and destinations. Contrary to common belief, tailor-made safaris do not necessarily cost more than group safaris. Of course if you choose to travel by private aircraft with a personal pilot / guide and stay at Africa’s finest safari lodges the costs can add up quickly.
A typical day on safari starts with a pre-dawn wake up with hot tea and biscuits. Activities are normally decided upon over dinner the previous evening. As the sun rises you will head out into the bush with your guide for wildlife viewing, birding, photography or whatever else you have planned. Mid morning (between 10 AM - 11 AM), as wildlife activity begins to slow, you will return to camp for brunch. The middle of the day is spent resting as wildlife activity is very limited. You may enjoy reading, take a nap, or relax with a cooler of drinks at a nearby wildfife viewing stand (available at many lodges and camps). Your afternoon activity starts with tea and snacks near 3:00 PM and extends past sunset with cold drinks served in the bush. At dark you will return to camp for a refreshing shower before drinks at the bar or around the fire. Dinner is normally served at 8:00 PM followed by dessert and after dinner drinks around the fire. Most guests retire around 10:00 PM.
